  1. PUBLIC SCHOOLS ARE FAILING TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATION TO THEIR STUDENTS.

Teacher unions are a causative agent to this failure. Also teachers are introducing personal political and social views into lessons. BAD!

As a nation, we can no longer justify restricting children to these failing schools…Change is urgently needed. And that change will require competition.

Our garden of education has withered and wilted for long enough. It is time to pull out the weeds.

  2. Why don’t we spend billions of $ bussing kids away from their neighborhoods so that we know brown and white kids will have to sit together, though destroying neighborhood schools and being very inconvenient for everyone?

Oh yeah. We’ve already done that.

Why don’t we double real per student spending about once per decade for several decades. Done that too.

Why don’t we hire a ton more administrators? Done that in spades.

  3. MASSIVE SCANDAL UNFOLDING AT NASHVILLE, TN SCHOOLS.

Another teacher says she was ordered to FABRICATE grades to give a passing grade to failing students.

The school then SUSPENDED her after she REFUSED to skew the numbers.

    What is going in @MetroSchools?!

Here is a video news report on the teacher’s dilemma .

    1. Even though it is pretty outrageous, Fred, I also find it a bit unsurprising. Knowing the tendencies of school systems– and the tendencies of parents who intervene on behalf of their kids and seek special privileges– I expect this has been going on for a long time in MANY school districts.
