Just a footnote: When I was visiting family in NYC a couple of weeks ago, WABC– the local flagship ABC station– was requesting viewers to contact the FCC to request that the sale of the station not be forced upon Disney/ABC. They are worried. The networks being forced to sell their prized local stations has been discussed for a while.
