Section 3 Disqualification from Holding Office
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
This article advocates this provision should be used to prevent the socialists from being seated in Congress.

Yeah. Democratic socialism is pretty similar to democratic theft. Socialism is still thievery at best, the “democratic” adjective not changing a damned thing.
Yet the guy crying about this (Johnson) is about to manage the merger of US and Israeli militaries via “the defense authorization”, so that the Zionists have a permanent IV into the US taxpayers arm and US sovereignty is even more destroyed than presently. Maybe better to have the declared thieves (socialists) instead than such mild and cunning traitors as Johnson.
Yes, J. Sobran, Johnson is a disappointment. I somehow doubt he will have the courage to refuse to seat the newly elected socialists.
And I don’t think any “merger” of these two militaries is a good thing. It makes you wonder what they could be possibly thinking– other than contemplating the campaign cash.
We don’t even know who engineered this aspect of the defense authorization act, who put it in the bill. It is put in in such a way that it cannot be debated. The next time someone says “our democracy,” somebody should smack’em in the mouth.
DC has long been Israeli-occupied territory, but this will so permanently and insidiously destroy our sovereignty that those voting for it are complete traitors to their country and to their oath to defend the Constitution.
My best hope is that someone will sue over the issue of treaties require 2/3 majority of the Senate to ratify. Of course with our POLITICALLY CORRECT Supreme Ct, it’s a throw of the dice at best.
This is ultimately Johnson’s responsibility, J. Sobran– and as you point out, the responsibility of all those who cast their votes in favor. A lawsuit would be a good thing.
