  1. Interesting, and for me, a hopeful take. Vance is smarter than Trump by a quantum and may actually be a good guy. He should beware the secondary Mossad mike that Charlie Kirk used.

    1. He has a baby on the way, J. Sobran, and I don’t know if he will run. But he might be the most electable the GOP has.

      Wouldn’t it be wild if Trump were to resign some time after 1/27, and allowed Vance to have a crack at serving nearly 2.5 terms?

  2. I think it a little too early to write off Marco Rubio. He has been a stellar figure in carrying out US foreign policy. And would be a formidable and excellent campaigner.

    1. Rubio obviously is a very gifted man in many respects, Fred. The perception that he sides with the neoconservative wing disadvantages him against Vance; and he has ruled out running against the VP. But Vance might not choose to run, as you know.
