The first assures that units of local government cooperate with ICE and eliminates sanctuary jurisdictions.
The others eliminate DEI at public schools, colleges and universities; and in state and local government.
Three cheers that Governor Josh Stein did not prevail. The Senate has to still act on at least one of these bills.
There are 3 branches of government. I am pleased to see the General Assembly flexing its muscle.
Fred, I agree. They have passed a lot of good legislation over the years (along with a handful of real clunkers)!
