During the 1970’s, I recall going to the movie theater to see Charles Bronson’s “Death Wish”, set in New York, that depicted a vigilante going after criminals. Crime was very bad in New York at that time. I remember the crowd in the theater passionately cheering the vigilante who took action when the police would not:
Now, we have another film, “Citizen Vigilante”. But it has a new important twist that will arouse discussion. It is set in Europe where there is now rampant migrant-related crime. In addition to going after the criminals, the protagonist goes after the politicians who are responsible for crime conditions. The film is bound to cause controversy, but leaders in Europe allowed this problem to fester and snowball:
