Cawthorn made some youthful mistakes while serving in Congress. But when he made allegations regarding sex parties, there was a furious reaction against him led by Thom Tillis; and he was pushed out.

  1. It is an unsettling to know what is really going on over at the Hill. Sadly I don’t think any body is listening to Cawthorn. Swalwell was actually pushed of Congress by political calumny and not by a sex sandal. The allegations were a convenient reason. But the underlying reason was the California jungle primary and the need to narrow the field.

    1. I agree, Fred. But there are allegations that are set to sink at least 2 or 3 others, at least according to what I have been seeing online.

      It was so blatantly obvious that the socialists were distressed with the polling in the California primary, and felt they had to get rid of Swalwell. The threat was that there would be no socialist running for governor in CA because two Republicans were at the top of the polls in the primary! As you know, they don’t have party primaries there for the gubernatorial election.
