George Hartzman reveals that Councilwoman Tammi Thurm is making noises that a net tax increase is in the works. The city will need to set a new tax rate during its budget process in response to the property tax revaluations that have taken place.
She stated that the city might need a “small increase in the net revenue number”. She is speaking in code; and is telegraphing that discussions are underway that will result in a net tax increase.
The socialists can’t help themselves. Their instinctive inclination is to lust after tax money.
