Readers might be aware of the transhumanism agenda whereby humans are changed by introducing various technologies within them to enable “higher capabilities”.
Some very dark forces are advocating transhumanism. Unfortunately, Elon Musk is among them.
It turns out that C.S. Lewis foresaw the potential for transhumanism and artificial intelligence. He wrote a book called That Hideous Strength approximately 80 years ago. It is a science fiction novel that depicts dark forces seeking to “re-engineer humanity”. The Brownstone Institute has an article that summarizes the content of the book.
It is quite a story. I suggest reading the article– and maybe the book.
C.S. Lewis was a wonderful seer and one who prophesied future events with amazing accuracy.
It’s pretty amazing, Fred, how his story so accurately foreshadows the events we have seen unfold before us. I hope a modern Tower of Babel situation confounds the conspirators.
