Can’t say folks weren’t warned. That will make property owners say—- OUCH !
Yes, they were warned, and yet they persist in their voting patterns. We have previously mentioned the nefarious effect of out-of-town college voters casting their votes here (UNCG, A&T). There needs to be a lot of pressure on the county commissioners and our various city and town councils.
It’s no better in Forsyth Co. with its Uniparty Commissioners. My property tax bill just came and was 25% higher than the previous year. 25%!
The Forsyth School system goes millions in the red, feeding people during the summer when school is out even. Heaven forbid that parents should have to feed the children lunch. Personal responsibility is racist or something I suppose.
The entire mindset is disordered, J. Sobran. The welfare state is so deeply entrenched that they have served meals in schools during summer break.
I saw that Forsyth County Schools went to the state asking for more money to help with their deficit, and thankfully, the Republicans in Raleigh declined.
