It is a question that has puzzled me. Not sure this is totally satisfying answer.
I don’t know that this has anything to do with it, but Russia is different from the rest of the West in being unembarrassed by the elements of Western civilization and Christianity that it embraces. They should be our ally against totalitarian China.
I agree, J. Sobran. It was a tragic mistake when Biden threw Russia into the arms of the Chinese, and when the Uniparty pushed Trump away from Russia eight years ago.
It’s almost like Biden was bribed by China with 10s of millions of $s. Oh, that’s right. He was. Biden fomented that war deliberately. And the only winner of the Ukraine-Russia War will be China.

This meeting in Alaska between Trump and Putin should be interesting. We will see who blinks.
My understanding is that Trump is inclined to have Ukraine cede some territory to Russia, Fred. I think that would be a good thing, but I don’t know that Ukraine and the Europeans will go along…
