We learn from the the Daily Mail (HT: Carolina Plott Hound) that former Governor Roy Cooper had a previous marriage decades ago and dumped his first wife to pursue a political career. This is something that had been successfully hidden for many years.
In addition, he reportedly started seeing his second wife before her divorce was finalized.
Why should we not be surprised?
The Daily Mail spelled her name wrong. It is Georgeanne Tolley not Georganne Tolley.

We really have to wonder about the Christian commitment of a man who knowingly causes the dissolution of his marriage to pursue political office. It reveals an extraordinary degree of ideological intensity; or alternatively a horrible combination of narcissism and pridefulness.
And we can’t blame this on the fact that he was a young adult. He knew what he was doing. When we consider the content of his political platform– pro-abortion, pro-LGBT, pro-socialism– it all makes sense.
Yes, TC, it does all make sense. Cooper is a POS.
