This is the result of the US Supreme Court vacating previous rulings requiring the state to provide this coverage in its State Health Plan.
What courts had issued these rulings? A U.S. District Court judge and the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Readers will recall that the circuit court of appeals that rules over our region, based in Richmond, is heavily stacked with socialist judges.
While this case will continue to be deliberated upon, it appears the final outcome no longer is in doubt. The U.S. Supreme Court is finally delivering rulings based on the original meaning of the Constitution. Let’s hope it lasts.
I remember when the 4th Circuit had a healthy majority of conservative judges.
