The socialists and their allies within the bureaucracy will find ways to rationalize it. But there is a long tradition of our area having much higher taxes than other areas in the state. We live in a “big spending” bubble.
To reverse this trend, citizens must consistently demand that our units of local government do less— not more. Unfortunately, citizens in our region have not consistently required this in the past.
