The school is located in Winston-Salem. We learn from the State Auditor that the student/ faculty ratio is 6:1. That is an extraordinarily luxurious ratio.
And these faculty members are very expensive for state taxpayers.

What did the last audit show ?
I don’t know, Fred. I suppose the advocates for the arts will argue the nature of these disciplines requires a lower ratio. That would justify downsizing this capability, in my opinion.
