Many fond memories just rushed back and I found myself day dreaming of Nat King Cole crooning Mona Lisa and Unforgettable. We listened to him on the “good time radio” ( AM ) and the “juke box ” . And of course did some spooning ( the Welsh tradition ) to his vocals.

The music of that era was outstanding, Fred; and he was an amazing vocalist. My recollection is that he predictably had a messy personal life; but the music and lyrics were beautiful and wholesome.
