The Guilford Board of County Commissioners will have a hearing Thursday at 5:30 PM regarding the potential for property tax increases resulting from property revaluations.

Concerned citizens ought to attend and speak if able. We may be facing property tax increases in excess of 40 percent at the county level.

I can’t figure out why people in Forsyth Co. seem to have accepted this year’s 25%–1 yr! — increase like sheep. And the Uniparty Commissioners still have the $47 million Forsyth schools over-spend to deal with.
Perhaps it is that the mass of people have it divided up to pay with the monthly mortgage payment, or are renters?
The socialist voters tend to be renters, J. Sobran. They don’t perceive they pay property taxes, but of course they do.
Also, you have out-of-town university students voting in elections who elect socialist commissioners.
