It’s almost as if these authors had a crystal ball! Here are books that predicted the future to an eerily accurate degree.
More recently there was the 2006 film ” The Lives of Others ” The plot is about the monitoring of East Berlin residents by agents of the Stasi, East Germany’s secret police. Here is the trailer :
Some of us have had a rude recalibration of what we used to believe about our own country, Fred. I would have never believed all of this back in 1993, except as fiction.
