  1. Amen! She’s correct in every detail. The Supreme Court has effectively declared much of the Constitution unconstitutional. So law schools no longer even teach it.

    The President’s oath is to defend the Constitution, not the opinions of 9 politicians in black robes who are appointed for life and about as unaccountable as any powerful person can be in this life. Unaccountable.

    1. That is definitely a defect in our system, J. Sobran. Impeachment and removal ought to be a means of accountability, but when the political class is corrupted, then there is no remedy.

      1. The “Anti-Federalists” (not the nationalists who called themselves “Federalists”) saw this flaw in the Constitution, the unaccountability of appointed judges and wrote of it… Brutus especially, who predicted the Supreme Ct would over time mold the govt into any shape it chose.
