Physicians in North Carolina continue to witness the further deterioration of the North Carolina Medical Society as it transforms itself to a left-wing interest group.
Earlier this month, it adopted a statement that is in alignment with the positions of the contemporary left on gun control. The medical society, in addition, falsely labels the situation as a “crisis”, thereby further mimicking the left. Of course, it is questionable that a medical organization should be trying to take away the constitutional rights of American citizens.
Moreover, I doubt that a state medical society ought to tackle this type of issue in the first place. It ought to concentrate instead on what is supposed to be its true, central mission–i.e., representing the interests of physicians in private practice.
Why do they answer questions that they aren’t being asked ?
