It is clear that the old Hebrew Bible– i.e., the Old Testament and the Torah– are not the primary scriptures for those within contemporary Judaism today. Instead, their primary scripture is the Talmud about which little is known outside their own circles. The Talmud consists largely of the musings of various rabbi’s written many years after Jesus Christ ascended into heaven.

Every religion makes its own set of truth claims. Jesus Christ was a major problem for those within Judaism; and they had to do something with Him, and with what He represents.
