I appreciate what Senators Cruz and Hawley are trying to do. But hearing room theatrics only go so far. It is time to impeach Merrick Garland and remove him from office:

What good would it accomplish to remove one hack only to replaced by another one. And even if impeached , conviction in the Senate would be doubtful. Why even bother ?
You are right that he would be replaced by another hack, and that he likely would not be removed. However, impeachment itself is a form of censure, and it highlights wrongdoing. The socialists unjustly impeached Trump twice, with virtually no justification. There is plenty of justification in the case of Garland (and others within this administration, including Biden himself).
