Fred, I think that video is a intended to be a scam. China, because it has a huge population, is bound to have large numbers of cases and deaths. But the variants currently circulating are much more mild that what we had during the first two years of the pandemic.
Any virus is a perplexing dilemma. I don’t know if this video is fake but if it is real then the message of public policy is indeed mixed.
