HT: NC Values Coalition
Southern Seminary is a Southern Baptist institution led by Al Mohler. World Magazine just published a piece penned by Mohler expressing concerns about a Mar-a-Lago GOP event for the Log Cabin Republicans hosted by the Trump's.
Mohler is precisely correct to express concern. This is not even remotely conservative. But supporting the LGBT juggernaut has been the overall gradual direction of the GOP during recent years; and it is one of Trump's blind spots.
It should be noted, however, that Mohler has been criticized by Reformation Charlotte because he had refused to weed out "woke"/social justice elements at Southern Seminary and within the Southern Baptist Convention; and because he was instrumental in advancing Russell Moore to lead the denomination's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.
It seems that conservatism is in short supply these days, even among those most heavily identified as conservative.
Thanks for informing me about Log Cabin Republicans as I had no idea that the classic homey symbol for pioneers had been hijacked by the homosexual community. I'd like my rainbow back as well!

TCfan, the Log Cabin Republicans group has been around for a long time. The problem is that the Republicans are trying to butter their bread on both sides, but it doesn't work. Someone ends up getting betrayed.

Did I miss any prominent GOPer stand up for Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson

I don't think so, Fred. Great point.
