This hurts, but it's true. I am taking the liberty of republishing:
Today, I was startled by an article that caught my attention over at The Federalist titled Illinois Bill Would Force Health Insurers To Buy Babies For Gay And Single People. To be honest, none of this stuff should surprise anyone anymore. America has completely embraced a revolutionary sexual ethic that far surpasses even the worst descriptions of sexual anarchy in the Bible. Yet, every time I think humanity couldn’t sink any deeper into the muck and mire of its own depravity, I’m reminded that godlessness has no bottom.
The article describes a piece of legislation on the table in Illinois that would redefine what it means to be infertile. Rather than rewrite it, I’ll just quote what the author of the article said:
The inability to conceive and carry a pregnancy seems to be on the rise for couples in the Western world, due to the rise in the age at which they seek to conceive and for other known and unknown reasons. But also on the rise is the number of gay couples and single women who wish to conceive, and even though they are not technically infertile, they would like insurance companies to think they are.
America is certainly facing an epidemic right now–and that epidemic is the wrath of God that is being revealed from Heaven and poured out in judgment over every square inch of this nation right now. Romans 1 describes a society that is so depraved that its punishment for sin is the actual sin itself.
America owns this. America has embraced more types of sexual perversions–from homosexuality to transgenderism, transvestitism and drag queens, even bestiality and pedophilia–than could ever be imagined during the times of Sodom and Gomorrah. There are more letters to tack on to the end of “LGBTQ+++” than were even conceivable during those times. Yet, back then, God rained down fire and brimstone to destroy those cities.
Today, as America adorns herself in rainbow colors with enormous pride, God turns nations over to their sin–and that judgment is far worse than death. We can clearly see by God’s actions that God hates America.
Largely, we have the Church to blame for this epidemic as she sits idly by, avoiding confrontation in the name of “living peaceably” among others, weltering in the deadly silence while false teachers like Joel Osteen and Rick Warren have the loudest voices among us. In the meantime, we have the leaders of our so-called “conservative” wings of Evangelicalism embracing a softening tone on homosexuality and calling on Christians to stand up for LGBTQ rights.
Apostate denominations like the United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church USA have openly embraced homosexuality and replaced biblical orthodoxy with queer theory. They’ve ordained homosexuals, transgenders, and every other type of sexual aberrant into the ministry and they parade these perverts around like badges of honor.
Yet, America continues to revel in its hatred of God as so-called conservatives serve up meaningless platitudes while refusing to take a strong stance on that which God hates the most–homosexuality, abortion, and a refusal to worship Him.
Yes, Jeremiah Wright was right when he said “God damn America!” but it wasn’t for the same reason. God hates him too. America may not be a racist nation, but it’s had its bout with racism. By the grace of God, that was cleaned up despite the protest of professional victims like “Reverend” Talbert Swan and “Rev” Kyle J. Howard. If anything, reverse racism has now taken root. But it’s clear that America is under the judgment of God and at this point, the Church needs to reckon with this dire state we’re in and learn how to survive in it.
We much must preach the gospel to our deaths–it is our only hope!

We have a few lovely incidents to recognize.
The first two involve the Politically Virtuous City. That's right-- our hometown of Greensboro. Apparently we had a humdinger of a city council meeting several days ago.
First, we have Michele Kennedy, who attempts an Oscar-level performance discussing the City Council's response to the death of Marcus Smith. According to Yes!Weekly:
"(S)itting here and taking a stance of silence, while what we know is an incredibly broken and racist system continues to exist, makes me complicit, not just in the death of Marcus Smith, but in the death of every Black man at the hands of that system."
If Ms. Kennedy is so complicit and responsible for the death of so many black men, she really ought to turn herself in to law enforcement and go straight to prison. From the Melvin Municipal Building where the council meetings are held, she would merely have to walk around the corner to do so. One wonders why she has not.
Then, there is the matter of the black woman who has a PhD. who verbally chastised a white zoning commission member for refraining from calling her "Doctor". It is fairly common that PhD's are not referred to as "Doctor", regardless of however one might feel about that. But this woman decided to "pull rank" in order to gain the upper hand in the discussion taking place.
Of course, our corrupt city council decided to remove the zoning commission member even though the demand that was made of him was intensely prideful and inappropriate. It was a great opportunity for the council to smack down a white guy. The story has since garnered national attention (HT: LB).
Our nine-person city council is currently comprised of eight women; four progressive/socialist blacks; two progressive/socialist Jews; two progressive/socialist persons of Middle Eastern descent; and one lesbian. There is not a single white male. I will leave it to the reader to decide whether this demographic composition explains the world of hurt the city of Greensboro is experiencing these days.
Now, let's move over to the Triangle. It seems that UNC-Chapel Hill has hired for its journalism school one of the key drivers for the 1619 project that is contaminating school systems and institutions nationwide at the prompting of the New York Times (HT: Fred). Nikole Hannah-Jones has been granted a chairmanship to indoctrinate generations of budding journalists in grievance-mongering and race-baiting.
She has been hired even though Republicans control the UNC Board of Governors. This raises the question as to what precisely this Board has achieved during the numerous years of Republican control.
I would hate to see what would happen if the socialists were in control of the UNC system! On second thought, it probably would not be much different than it is right now.

Never mind that the decision was rendered under extreme duress, with the terrorist Marxist organizations BLM and Antifa issuing various threats, and politicians making inflammatory statements. The jurors could not possibly feel safe making any other type of verdict.
Never mind that the three charges were, at least to some extent, mutually exclusive. If you were guilty of one, you could not be guilty of the other. But the jury threw the book at the police officer, convicting him of all three charges, because they perceived that they had to.
Never mind that reasonable doubt existed. While it seems just that the officer should have been convicted of something, and the appearance in the video seemed indefensible, the jury cannot convict if there is reasonable doubt.
In any event, we must recall that we are living during a time when nearly everything being presented is a lie or a prevarication. We must recall that the left has used racial division and accusations of racism for many decades in order to further the cause of Marxist change. This is, in fact, one of the core tenets of cultural Marxism. We must recall that Satan himself is the father of falsehood.
In any event, one principled former officer who happens to be black spoke with the BBC. And he spoke with clarity. Check it out: (HT: Fred)

Fox 8 has a story on its website about a local clergyman who spoke out on a few transgender bills in the General Assembly.
It was Rabbi Fred Guttman of Temple Emanuel on Jefferson Road in Greensboro, who proclaimed that he had three transgender members of his congregation; and apparently that was why the General Assembly ought not pass the bills in question.
Some of us recall when Joe Biden years ago gave credit to America's progressive/socialist Jewish community for providing critical, game-changing support for the enactment of the LGBT agenda in various ways. This type of activism is entirely consonant with several of the essential components of the contemporary Jewish worldview: cultural relativism, sexual liberationism and secularism. And of course, one of the goals of cultural Marxism is the obliteration of the traditional family unit which would then facilitate further Marxist revolution.
There are a couple of questions to raise, however.
First, why did the local Fox station grant a megaphone to this particular member of the clergy, out of perhaps THOUSANDS in the Piedmont Triad, to give him a larger voice on this issue? Surely there must be conservative/orthodox members of the clergy who also have strong feelings on this topic; and who rightfully recognize that the LGBT agenda is in opposition to God's will, and also inherently anti-Christian.
Second, we now understand that this particular Jewish congregation has three transgender members. Why should that compel the state of North Carolina to force girls to shower and dress and play sports with biological boys? Why should that force health care professionals to provide treatments that violate their conscience? Those are, after all, the kinds of issues addressed in the legislation discussed.
The good rabbi proclaims, "Shame on them." But he need not worry because his point of view will likely prevail. The Republicans, after all, ultimately run away from issues such as these like terrorized alley cats. Stick to dollars and cents and economic issues, they rationalize, and don't take political risks. Let the culture remain in the sewer; and allow living circumstances for Christian families within the state to continue to decline. That is the Republican formula.
