An incident up in Buncombe County went viral earlier today. A candidate in the democratic socialist primary for County Sheriff, Daryl Fisher, made reference to the refrain used by gun advocates-- that their respective weapons can only be taken from their cold, dead hands.
Fisher then stated expressively, in a manner intended to elicit a laugh, "OK....". But the implications were clear. The video is found here.
This is a candidate who presumably would be required to take an oath to defend the Constitution if he were elected. And that document includes, of course, the Second Amendment. How confident can we be that Mr. Fisher would defend the Second Amendment?
Almost immediately, after the situation went viral, the state's corrupt media began to make excuses for him. He was just joking, you see. Would you ever see them doing this for a truly conservative candidate?
The socialists think it is very important to take weapons away from the populace so they can achieve their objectives more easily. A compliant, unarmed citizenry is their goal. (HT:TS)
What a jerk. The comments on your video link are priceless
