Over the years, some have attempted to deny the divinity of Jesus Christ by asserting that He was not truly killed when the Romans attempted to crucify him. After all, that would explain the perception many have had that He was resurrected from the dead. Some nonbelievers attempt to obfuscate by asserting that He never had died in the first place; and that is why He was witnessed alive by numerous folks after the crucifixion.
A major medical journal has a fascinating analysis that proves, beyond reasonable doubt, that Christ was indeed killed when the Romans crucified Him. Now, it is up to nonbelievers to explain why so many saw Him after His death.
The Romans were quite satisfied to kill Jesus 2,000 years ago. But today, many others are metaphorically killing Jesus also.
The political and cultural left-- including the mainstream media and the religious left-- are among those who are doing this. They want some truly awful, indefensible things. They advocate for legalized abortion on demand to eliminate in huge numbers the innocent human life He values and esteems. They endeavor to tear asunder the natural family unit He created. They advocate for forced acceptance of same-sex marriage of which He never approved.
They advocate to take away the religious liberty of Jesus' followers; and to force us to do things of which He would disapprove. They want to bring dysfunction and disorder to the basic ways He would otherwise order the central core of our lives.
And they descend to horrible tactics and methods to achieve their ends. Their ways can be truly vile.
They are quite happy to kill Jesus; and to kill His followers. These seem to be some of their main objectives.
It is quite possible for them to succeed in the short term. But from an eternal perspective, they cannot ultimately succeed. They cannot truly kill Jesus-- no matter how hard they try.
Thanks for sharing that Joe. I actually posted it ON MY BLOG! I had almost forgotten how the template worked.
Smiling.

Mary, this is a somber Easter week. We are living and seeing how the anti-Christian side is prevailing; and how Christians, and the cause of Christ, have no real temporal defenders in the public square-- even in the state of North Carolina.
But Christ is the ultimate judge, and the eternal reality.

Yes, indeed. As soon as our legacy-seeking President made his unholy deal, the Iranians were telling us he lied about what's in the deal.
Of course, this President lying to the American people is nothing new. If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. If you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance. Don't worry that the little-hospital-that-always-could before the law was passed is now pad-locked. That lady who died in the back of an ambulance waiting on a medical chopper wasn't you or anybody you loved. It's no big thing that you cannot afford what we told you would be affordable. And hey, the IRS can't take half its phone calls, but it's going to do a really swell job policing medicine. And so on . . .
Sorry, Joe. I should have never have touched the template keys.

"They cannot truly kill Jesus-- no matter how hard they try."{
.....and they WILL continue to try.....and fail.
Unfortunately, some will never understand.
